After a lost 2020 season due to COVID-19, the annual Lawrence Taylor Celebrity Golf Weekend is back bigger and better than ever. The sold out event will support the Fore Life, Inc. organization. Fore Life, Inc. of Lauderhill continues to mentor and educate South Florida’s youth through lessons learned from the sport of golf. One of those prized pupils is 10-year-old Patrick Pinkney. He has accumulated over 30 tournament victories in a career that started at age 4 when he became a member at Fore Life, Inc.

“What started as the City of Lauderhill’s 50th anniversary celebration has grown into one of the premiere golf tournaments in South Florida,” Pearson-Tucker said. “During that time, our Throwback Celebrity Golf Weekend has raised over $200,000 for Fore Life, Inc. and its new program ‘Golf Instead of Guns.’
